Fronius IVH FR SYMO GEN24 5.0 PLUS
Our three-phase Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter is the perfect heart for private photovoltaic systems. The Fronius GEN24 Plus with its PV Point provides an integrated basic backup power supply or even a comprehensive backup power solution with the option to connect a battery system.
The Fronius GEN24 Plus hybrid inverter enables energy self-sufficiency for electricity, heating, cooling and e-mobility with the use of a battery system. This means that the Fronius GEN24 Plus with Full Backup has a backup power solution that can even supply 3-phase loads, such as heat pumps. What’s more, the Multi Flow Technology lets the hybrid inverter supply parallel energy flows in the system, even in backup power mode.
With the demand-oriented emergency power variants with or without a battery, the Fronius Symo GEN24 Plus enables the highest degree of security of supply in the home area.
With the PV Point, it has an innovation that for the first time makes a basic emergency power supply available for customers who do not yet want to buy a battery. For storage customers, the device offers proven full backup, in which the entire household is supplied with emergency power.
The Fronius GEN24 Plus devices are therefore the ideal solution for a wide variety of customer needs: Whether a battery should already be part of the system, a Fronius Ohmpilot should use the PV electricity for hot water preparation or the PV system in a home automation solution should be integrated: Fronius GEN24 Plus is always the right decision – for new systems or upgrades and extensions of existing solar systems.
In addition, the new devices offer simple installation, commissioning and servicing and can be used in all systems: Proven Fronius technologies such as the Superflex design can also be found in the Primo and Symo GEN24 Plus, which now offer the ideal storage solutions for single-phase and large three-phase systems .
We are the first inverter manufacturer to offer a data communication package that fully integrates data logging, WiFi, Ethernet, energy management, a web server and numerous interfaces. The inverter is thus connected to the Internet via a network cable or via WLAN – without additional cabling – and you have an optimal overview of the operation of the PV system. The connection to third-party components is ensured via interfaces such as Modbus TCP SunSpec, Modbus RTU SunSpec or Fronius Solar API (JSON). In addition, the open interfaces can be operated in parallel with Fronius Solar.web.
The Dynamic Peak Manager is a new type of MPP tracking algorithm that dynamically adjusts its behavior when searching for the optimal working point. The peculiarity is that the Dynamic Peak Manager regularly checks the entire characteristic curve automatically and thus finds the global maximum power point (GMPP) even in the case of partial shading.
With Multi Flow Technology, different DC and AC energy flows are possible in parallel. On the one hand, energy from the modules and energy from the battery can be made available to the household at the same time. On the other hand, the modules can also feed the energy into the battery and the house network at the same time. Furthermore, the battery can be charged not only from the DC side, but also from the AC side (for example from existing PV systems or other energy sources such as a wind turbine). The inverter is therefore also suitable for AC-coupled retrofitting. The inverter manages these energy flows in such a way that the highest possible self-sufficiency is achieved.
The Fronius SuperFlex design is a sophisticated interplay of technical performance features, with the help of which the design of PV systems is now particularly flexible and easy for you. The main performance factors of the SuperFlex design are: Two MPP trackers in combination with the high system voltage and the wide DC input voltage range. Each DC input and therefore each MPP tracker is also able to absorb the total inverter power. Whether different roof orientations, shading of one or two strings or the use of residual modules: With a Fronius inverter with an integrated SuperFlex design, you cover every relevant design scenario in operational PV planning practice with just one inverter model.
With the demand-oriented emergency power variants with or without battery, the inverter enables the highest degree of security of supply in the home: / Emergency power function with and without battery possible / Basic emergency power supply (PV Point) integrated as standard / Full backup option enables maximum independence.
The integrated basic emergency power supply, a socket supplied in the event of an emergency, ensure
s that important consumers can also be operated in the event of a power failure. The PV Point can be used with or without storage.
